Are your products dermatologically tested?

Yes! All of our products are tested by a dermatologist to verify their skin compatibility. Although our products are suitable for all skin types, our testing panels are made up of volunteers with sensitive skin; this way, we make sure our formulas are compatible with sensitive skins.

Do you use fragrances in your products?

We do not use any synthetic or natural fragrances in Amazon Glow, Secret Calyx and Spiritual Journey. Our cleanser and lip balm, have less than 1% fragrance/aroma in their formulas.

Are your products clean?

Qara is proudly clean and its formulas do not contain any potential skin irritants, including parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, PEGs, mineral oils, sulphates and silicones. Our formulations are vegan and cruelty free, and abide by the EU’s list of 1,300+ ingredients that are restricted for cosmetic use.

Do you test on animals?

Qara does not test on animals and never will. Our brand is 100% vegan friendly and cruelty free. Our stance against animal testing isn’t only about complying with EU regulations, but, most importantly, about our conviction that our animal friends deserve better.

Are your products vegan?

Yes, we are vegan friendly! Qara products are scientifically formulated with more than 94% natural actives and ingredients. None of our products contain any animal by-products or animal derivatives, such as honey, beeswax and allantoin. We use plant based ingredients to bring balance to all skin types.

How long do Qara products last?

Once opened, all our products last 12 months. On the packaging of each product you will find the international open jar symbol, also called the PAO (Period After Opening), with the number 12. Additionally, from the time of production, and if they are kept sealed, the shelf life of our products is 36 months.

Do you use preservatives?

We do not use any traditional preservatives. Instead, we use preservative-like substances (such as magnolia derivatives and glycols, which are organic compounds belonging to the alcohol family) that protect the integrity of our formulas and minimize the possibility of skin reactivity. Our face oil and lip balm are both free of preservatives and preservative-like substances.

How should I store my products?

Products perform best when stored at room temperature, and out of direct sunlight. We recommend you ensure the room does not exceed 27 degrees or drop below 5 degrees Celsius.

We formulate all our products in Barcelona, Spain, in strict compliance with EU regulations.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

We always choose glass for our bottles and jars in an effort to help reduce the amount of plastic waste generated by the beauty industry. Our manufacturers use technology that reduces the amount of glass needed for each container by 30%, and cuts down CO2 emissions by 67%. We opt for post-consumer materials whenever possible, use vegetable and biodegradable inks, and guarantee all our packaging is FSC certified.

What does FSC certified mean?

It means all of the paper we use in our packaging comes from responsible sources that meet the high standards set by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This international non-profit organization is dedicated to promoting environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests.

Are your packaging and containers recyclable?

Yes, they are 100% recyclable. It's one of the main reasons we choose glass and post-consumer materials for our packaging. But it's up to each of us to properly classify and clean our recyclables so that they don’t end up in a landfill. We recommend you rinse the containers with hot water and make sure to sort each of their parts properly. The jars themselves should go with the glass and the lids with plastics. As for the droppers, please separate the glass tube from the dropper cap, clean off any remaining product in the tube and recycle with glass. The cap can be recycled with plastics.

How do you make sure your Amazonian ingredients come from responsible sources?

We source our main ingredients from local suppliers who understand protecting the environment means protecting their livelihoods, which is why they cultivate and harvest their crops in an ethical, sustainable and community friendly manner. Our suppliers have international certifications that ensure ethical and sustainable supply chains:

White cacao: Organic and Fair Trade certified.

Schinus molle: Controlled, sustainable and ethical supply chain.

Camu camu: Organic,

Can I change or cancel my order once I’ve placed it?

If you wish to change anything in your order please send an email to or contact us here with your order details and information about the request. Doing this as quickly as possible will give us a greater chance of fixing the order before it’s sent. Unfortunately, if the order has already been shipped we won't be able to cancel the order. What should I do if I receive a damaged or wrong product?

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to the European Union (except Canary Islands, Ceuta & Melilla). At the moment we can’t ship to any other territories, but we are working hard to reach you in as many countries as possible.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free shipping when you spend €30 or more in Spain. We offer free shipping when you spend €50 or more in Austria, Germany, France, Portugal, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands & Monaco.

For purchases under this amount, shipping fees will be calculated during checkout.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We want you to enjoy your Qara products as soon as possible and work closely with our shipping partners to make that happen.
Estimated delivery times
Spain - Mainland: 1-2 business* days.
Spain - Balearic Islands: 2-3 business* days.
Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Portugal: 4-5 business* days.
If you place your order before 2pm CET we will process it the same day. Orders placed after that time will be processed and shipped on the next business day. And remember: if you place your order on a weekend, we will only be able to process it on the following business day.

*National holidays in both the country of origin and destination do not count as business days.
In addition, during Black Friday, orders may be delayed for reasons beyond the control of our logistics process.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is shipped you will receive an email or text message from the shipping company with a tracking link. If you’re not available to receive your parcel, click on the tracking link to edit the delivery date and time. If there’s no one home when the parcel arrives, the courier will try again the next day.

What should I do if I am not at home when delivery is attempted?

It’s not a problem! If there’s no one home when the parcel arrives, the courier will try again the next day. If you’re not sure if you will be at the designated address during the estimated delivery time, you can contact us at and we will put you in touch with the courier so you can agree on a time that suits you.

Do you accept returns?

We’re sorry you didn’t love your Qara product. We accept returns of all unopened items within 30 days of receipt for a full refund minus any shipping fees. Please remember the products must be in their original packaging and that you will have to cover shipping fees for the return.

To return an item please make sure to pack it properly, place your delivery note inside and drop it off at any shipping company that guarantees delivery by tracking number.. Send it to the following address:

Send us an email with the tracking number and the name of the carrier so we can enter it into our system and track it.

Once we have received it and checked its condition, we will refund your money which you will receive in 10 working days.

I’ve opened my Qara product, can I still return it?

We’re sorry you didn’t love your Qara product. Unfortunately, we can only accept returns of unopened, unused products in their original packaging.

How long do I have to return my order?

You have 30 days from the date of receipt to return your order. Please keep in mind that the product or products must be unopened, unused and in their original packaging. As soon as we receive your package and verify that the product is unopened and in perfect condition, we will immediately process the refund. You’ll receive your refund, minus any shipping fees, in 10 working days.

Can I ask for a refund?

We’re sorry you didn’t love your Qara product, but if that is the case, you can of course ask for a refund. If all or part of your order isn’t to your satisfaction, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to return it.

Please keep in mind that all returned products must be unopened, unused and in their original packaging. If your order included gifts, these must be returned as well; if the order is part of a pack, you must return the complete pack to us. Once we receive your return package we will proceed to a full refund, minus any shipping fees, in 10 working days. If you received a wrong or damaged product, just let us know and we will take care of everything.

How long do refunds take?

You’ll receive your refund in 10 working days from the moment we receive your package and verify that all returned products are unopened and in their original packaging. You’ll be refunded in full, minus any shipping fees, to your original form of payment.
